9 May

It's MONDAY! A new lucky day has been drawn! Could it be your lucky day? It was lucky in 1901 when Australia opened its first parliament in Melbourne and in 1904, the steam locomotive City of Truro became the first steam engine in Europe to exceed 100 mph. Finally, in 1958 the film Vertigo had its world première in San Francisco.

Famous people born on this day include J. M. Barrie, Scottish author and playwright, born 1860, Albert Finney, English actor, born 1936, and Billy Joel, American singer-songwriter and pianist, born 1949. The day is dedicated to Peter Pan creator, J. M. Barrie, which we will celebrate with Peter Pan quotes!

“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.”

“All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust.”

“Dreams do come true, if only we wish hard enough. You can have anything in life if you will sacrifice everything else for it.”

“If you cannot teach me to fly, teach me to sing.”

Have a magical day my dear friend!
