6 May

It's FRIDAY! A new day, a new lucky day draw! Is it your lucky day? It was lucky in 1835 when James Gordon Bennett, Sr. published the first issue of the New York Herald. In 1889, the Eiffel Tower officially opened to the public at the Universal Exposition in Paris. In 1940, John Steinbeck was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his novel The Grapes of Wrath and finally in 1954, Roger Bannister became the first person to run the mile in under four minutes.

Famous people born on this day include Sigmund Freud, Austrian-English neurologist and psychoanalyst, born 1856, Orson Welles, American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, born 1915, and George Clooney, American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, born 1961. The day, of course, has to go to George!

I don't like to share my personal life... it wouldn't be personal if I shared it.

The only failure is not to try.

Happy lucky day my friend!
