5 March

My goodness! The 5th of March is a tough day for lucky events. I have to admit, I have struggled. But here we go! In 1960, Cuban photographer Alberto Korda took his iconic photograph of Marxist revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara and in 1998, the first Winter Paralympics were held outside Europe, in Nagano, Japan. And there you have it!

I even struggled with the famous people born on the day – sorry, Eddie Grant, Guyanese-English singer-songwriter, and Elaine Paige, English singer, both born on this day in 1948. And sorry Eva Mendes, American actress and Matt Lucas, English comedian and actor, both born on this day in 1974. All I can say is thank goodness for Michael Jackson, number one on the US Billboard on this day in 1982, with 'Billie Jean'. Take it away Mike!

She told me her name was Billie Jean, as she caused a scene
Then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round

People always told me be careful of what you do
And don't go around breaking young girls' hearts
And mother always told me be careful of who you love

And be careful of what you do 'cause the lie becomes the truth.

So be careful of what you do my friend and have a very lucky day! And remember to check if your lucky day has been drawn.
