25 March

It’s FRIDAY! And a GOOD FRIDAY too as a new lucky day has been drawn! IS IT YOUR LUCKY DAY? Well, it was certainly a lucky day for Venice in 421 as, according to legend, Venice was founded at twelve o'clock noon on this day. Also lucky on the 25th of March, the first settlers arrived in Maryland in 1634 and in 1655, Saturn's largest moon, Titan, was discovered by Christiaan Huygens. A lucky day for peace too, as on this day in 1965, Civil rights activists led by Martin Luther King Jr. successfully completed their four-day 50-mile march from Selma to the capitol in Montgomery, Alabama, and in 1969, John Lennon and Yoko Ono hold their first Bed-In for Peace at the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel during their honeymoon.

Famous people born on this day include Aretha Franklin, American singer-songwriter and pianist, born 1942, and Sarah Jessica Parker, American actress, singer, and producer, born 1965. So who do we dedicate this day to? It has to be Martin Luther King!

Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.

Have a wonderfully lucky Good Friday my friend and remember to check if today is your Lucky Day!
