23 March

What a lucky day! In 1568, The Peace of Longjumeau was signed, ending the second phase of the French Wars of Religion and in 1848, the ship, John Wickliffe, arrives at Port Chalmers carrying the first Scottish settlers for Dunedin, New Zealand. Finally, in 1888, the Football League, the world's oldest professional association football league, meets for the first time.

And such a lucky day to be born if you love sport! In 1929, Roger Bannister, English runner, was born, and in 1962, Steve Redgrave, English rower, was born. Joe Calzaghe, Welsh boxer, was born on this day in 1972 and Chris Hoy, Scottish cyclist and race car driver, was born in 1976. But forget all these sport stars, the day is dedicated to a feisty American singer-songwriter born on this day 1953. Ladies and Gentleman, welcome Chaka Khan!

You've just got to follow your own path. You have to trust your heart and you have to listen to the warnings.

Getting a degree, being on Sesame Street... those were like real accomplishments to me.

Have a brilliant, lucky day my friend! And PLEASE do tell your friends to join! We won't be able to increase the number of draws or give more away unless more people join. Just think, one day we could be as big as the Free Postcode Lottery, giving away £200 a day! And imagine winning this amount!
