22 March

£10 IN THE DRAW! Are you sure it isn't your Lucky day? Well, it was a lucky day in 1894 when the first play-off game for the Stanley Cup started and also on 1906 when the first England vs France rugby union match was played at Parc des Princes in Paris. A very lucky day for music as in 1963 The Beatles' first album, Please Please Me, was released in the United Kingdom and in 1997, Tara Lipinski, aged 14 years and 10 months, became the youngest women's World Figure Skating Champion.

Born on this day in 1948 was Andrew Lloyd Webber, English director and composer, but the day goes to Pink Floyd, number one on the US Billboard on this day in 1980 with “Another Brick in the Wall, Part II”. Take it away boys!

We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

Have yourself a wonderfully lucky day!
