25 January

Have to admit, we are feeling the love for 25 January. Not only was the Wedding March first performed on this day at the marriage of Queen Victoria's daughter, Victoria, and Friedrich of Prussia in 1858 (which was to become the most popular wedding procession tune), but the air was filled with kisses and congratulations at the Hollywood Athletic Club in 1949 when the first Emmy Awards were presented. Whilst we would normally love to celebrate the fact Virginia Woolf was born on this day in 1882, the day has to belong to Robert Burns, born in 1759 on 25 January:

“But to see her was to love her, Love but her, and love forever.”

Oh Bobby, you smooth talking Scot!
Have a LOVEly lucky day! And remember to check our website - you never know, today could be YOUR lucky day!
