18 January

A lucky day in the air and on the road! In 1911, Eugene B. Ely became the first person to land an aircraft on the deck of a ship (the USS Pennsylvania stationed in San Francisco Bay), which was followed eight years later by the luxurious car company Bentley Motors Limited being founded in 1919. But sometimes it isn't about getting somewhere fast but the journey you take, as believed by the wonderful bear Winnie the Pooh, whose author A.A. Milne, was born on this day in 1882:

“Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.”

Have a honey filled lucky day!
